Atome est un street artiste français né en 1990 à Rochefort. Il vit et travaille aujourd’hui à Nice. C’est en faisant ses armes dans les rues de Cognac au début des années 2000 qu’Atome choisit pour signature le nom de ce liant entre croyances microscopiques et perception macroscopique. En perpétuelle recherche d’interaction, stimulé par les contraintes de temps et d’espace, ses différents projets veulent interpeller et questionner l’Homme sur sa situation dans un monde en constante évolution dans un souci d’actualité et de plasticité vernaculaire.
Atome commence ses collaborations en 2012 avec Futura 2000 pour une fresque dans les locaux de la Maison Hennessy à Cognac, ainsi que sur la devanture du concept store parisien Colette. Il est aujourd’hui représenté par la Galerie Saltiel et participe à de nombreux projets artistiques et expositions collectives.
Atome is a French street artist. He was born in 1990 in Rochefort. He is now working and living in Nice. When he started in the streets of Cognac back in the 2000s, he chose Atome as his artist name in reference to his microscopic beliefs and his macroscopic perception.
He has been looking for interaction, motivated by the constraints of space and time. His projects questions men on his ever evoluting place on earth with a focus on uptodate and popular plasticity. Atome started collaborating with Futura 2000 in 2012 for a mural painting at Hennessy Cognac House and the window project of the Colette parisian store. He is now at the Saltiel Gallery and is taking part in many artistic projects or collective exhibitions.
